  Material and Corrosion Resistance


304 stainless steel: It has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and low-temperature strength, and is suitable for general food processing and pharmaceutical industries. Its chromium content is about 18% and nickel content is about 8%, which can resist corrosion from most organic and inorganic acids.

316 stainless steel: It has better corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel, especially in environments containing chloride ions. 316 stainless steel contains 2% -3% molybdenum, an element that enhances its resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, making it suitable for the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries.

316L stainless steel: It is a low-carbon version of 316 stainless steel with better resistance to intergranular corrosion. During the welding process, low carbon content can reduce the risk of intergranular corrosion and is suitable for sanitary pump components that require welding.


| Applicable media


Wide range of applications: Suitable for conveying clean and pollution-free liquids, such as food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, etc. Meanwhile, some models can also handle media containing particles or fibers.

Temperature adaptability: able to adapt to a wide temperature range, usually operating normally between -20 ℃ and 150 ℃, depending on the sealing material and pump structure.



| Maintenance and Cleaning


Cleaning methods

Shutdown and power-off: Before carrying out any cleaning work, it is necessary to shut down and cut off the power supply to ensure safety.

Dismantling components: Based on the structure of the pump, disassemble the parts that need to be cleaned, such as the pump head, impeller, seals, etc. For some detachable components, they should be disassembled according to the instructions in the manual.

Preliminary flushing: Use clean water or a suitable cleaning solution to conduct a preliminary flushing of the removed components to remove surface dirt and impurities.

Cleaning with cleaning agents: For some difficult to clean stains, food grade or industrial grade cleaning agents can be used for cleaning. Soak the components in a cleaning solution, follow the instructions of the cleaning agent for the appropriate soaking time, and then gently scrub with a soft brush or sponge.

Thoroughly rinse: Rinse the components thoroughly with clean water to ensure that the cleaning agent is completely rinsed clean and to avoid any residue that may affect subsequent use.

Disinfection treatment: For some applications with high hygiene requirements, such as food processing or medical equipment, disinfectants can be used to disinfect the components. The selection of disinfectants should comply with relevant hygiene standards and be operated according to the instructions.

Drying or air drying: Place the cleaned and disinfected parts in a well ventilated area to air dry naturally, or use a clean cloth to dry them. For some components that require rapid drying, drying equipment can be used for drying, but attention should be paid to controlling the temperature to avoid damaging the components.

Maintenance methods

Regular inspection: Regularly inspect all components of the pump, including seals, bearings, impellers, etc., to ensure that there is no wear, damage, or looseness. For problems discovered, they should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.

Lubrication and maintenance: According to the pump's user manual, regularly lubricate the pump's bearings and other components that require lubrication. Use appropriate lubricating oil or grease and replace it according to the prescribed cycle.

Check seals: Seals are important components of pumps. Regularly check the wear of seals and replace damaged seals in a timely manner to prevent leakage.

Check pipeline connections: Check if the inlet and outlet pipeline connections of the pump are secure and if there are any leaks. Any discovered leakage points should be promptly repaired.

Check the motor: For electric pumps, regularly check the operation of the motor, including whether the temperature, sound, current, etc. of the motor are normal. If any abnormalities are found, they should be inspected and repaired in a timely manner.

Record maintenance status: Establish equipment maintenance records, recording the time, content, and problems discovered during each maintenance, in order to track and analyze the operating status of the equipment.
