How to clean the sanitary filter?


Cleaning stepspreparation


Cut off the power or close the inlet valve: Ensure that the equipment is in a safe state.

Disassemble the filter: Carefully disassemble the outer shell and filter element of the filter according to the design of the equipment.

Preliminary cleaning

Remove surface dust: Use a soft bristled brush or vacuum cleaner to gently remove large particles of dust from the surface of the filter element.

Check the status of the filter element: Check if the filter element is damaged or severely clogged, and replace it if necessary.

soak cleaning

Choose the appropriate cleaning agent: use neutral cleaning agents or specialized cleaning agents, avoid using strong acids and alkalis.

Soak the filter element: Soak the filter element in cleaning solution for a period of time depending on the degree of dirt, usually ranging from 15 minutes to several hours.

Special cleaning method: For stubborn dirt, ultrasonic cleaning can be used.

Rinse with clean water: Rinse the soaked filter element thoroughly with clean water to ensure that the cleaning solution is completely removed.

Backwash: For some filter elements, backwashing can be used to flush from the inside to the outside of the filter element.

Disinfection (if necessary)

Use disinfectant: According to hygiene requirements, use food grade disinfectant to disinfect the filter element.

Rinse disinfectant: After disinfection, rinse thoroughly with clean water to ensure no residue.

Natural drying: Place the cleaned filter element in a well ventilated place to dry naturally.

Avoid direct sunlight: prevent the filter element from deforming due to high temperature.

reinstall

Check the seals: Before installation, check if the seals are intact and replace them if they are damaged.

Install filter element: Reinstall the dried filter element into the filter, ensuring a secure installation.

Avoid using corrosive cleaning agents: to prevent damage to the filter element and equipment.

Regular cleaning: Clean the filter regularly according to the frequency of use and environment.

Follow the equipment manual: Different types of sanitary filters may have special cleaning requirements and should be operated according to the equipment manual.

Safe operation: During the cleaning process, take appropriate safety measures such as wearing gloves and goggles.
